The print depicts a fisherman standing on a seaside cliff perfoming loneline fishing. There are great waves below him striking the cliff and there is a mountain in the background. The print mainly applies the color of white and shades of blue. The artist inscribed the title of the work along with his signature on the upper left-hand corner.

Black with matte black circle and scroll design. Water crests are of many types, designs based on flowing water, water in ponds, or other inspirations. The flowing water motif, with its distinctive S sharped formned by the parallel lines, can be found in Yayoi period artifacts.  This particular water crests called "Kanze Whirlpools".  The Kanze family, head of one of the schools of Noh, used this design of a whirlpool of water as the ritual motif for the head of the Kanze school

Rubbing of limestone slab carved bas-relief with six registers. The lower register depicts a chariot procession above fish-inhabited waters. The central three registers depict figures carrying out funerary rites. The top register shows a winged creature with a human face flanked by two writhing dragons and other animals, including two rabbits and a nine-tailed fox. <br />
